Girl 6 I caught this film last week on the tube and although Spike Lee is one of my favorite directors of all time< I absolutely could not pay any attention to the film because of all othe Prince songs distracting me. Everytime one played I was lost in reverie until the next one came. Totally missed the film. | |

Yes, his music is distracting in that movie.  It's cool for the songs to have been included I guess, but they should not have been so loud. But in the other films I've seen by him, the loud background music is instrumental, so it's not bad. Eh...you didn't miss much anyway. That movie was below average. Prince's music being used was the main highlight of that movie to me lol. "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ

I honestly couldn't see a lot of correlation between the music and the images on screen
I guess Spike just wanted to pay homage to Prince. | |
