Yes, I had the presence of mind to buy much of the Paisley Park output on CD. I kick myself every day for not copping The Family CD, but I did manage to get several others, including Jill Jones. That stuff is collector's gold. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

That stuff is collector's gold. The Family CD was hard to find in the US compared to most Paisley Park items. It was only available as a Japanese or European import. I found my Japanese disc in a local import bin for $20, which at the time, was a lot. I was lucky enough to pick up about 5 of the Jill Jones CD's when Best Buy had them as cut-outs, for about $2 a piece. Before the days of eBay, I traded most of them for other Prince stuff. I more than once passed on buying both of the Madhouse discs when they would come up in used CD shops, since I already had them. I should have popped for the $8, considering what they are worth today. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

Same with me, I grew up with vinyl but for some reason I totally ignored 7" I didn't totally ignore 7" singles. I have all the officially released US 45's and a couple UK ones, I just liked the 12" singles better: Making love and music are the only things worth fighting for.

To me its not vinyl, its any book or magazine article, there are bargains to be had here in New Zealand. I got a copy of Prince "Imp of the Perverse by Barney Hoskyns" for $5NZ (US $2.59) a year ago and my copy of a pop life by Dave Hill cost 20 cents from a garage sale, apart from looking well read, both books are in good nick. I also got a March 1986 Rolling Stone Mag for $3 ($1.56) from a shop in Dunedin (New Zealand) that has Prince in Paisley Pajamas with WendynLisa So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

I was lucky enough to find some stuff on vinyl. I was given an original LP issue of The Family purchased for 20.00, and I did pick up a Madhouse CD for the same price you quoted, 8.00. I also found Madhouse 16 on vinyl online for about 9.00. Sometimes, the sellers don't know what they have. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

IMO, that's not only the best of the books, but the rarest. Good pickup. I'd LOVe to have that '86 Rolling Stone. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

They're good for nothing but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.
