That is incomprehensible!!!! That is sacrilege!!! That is one of the funkiest things Prince has ever done. My Dad used to play that cut OVER and OVER and OVER again when I was a kid. Reading through all of the posts just now, I find it to be interesting that I'm not the only one to use the word sacrilege... this would be much easier if you would have started with an album like Chaos & Disorder... How about Rave? That would be real easy! |

[Edited 3/9/09 19:00pm] I was surprised that it made my list, yes, and was surprised I did not struggle more with the choice. I don't disklike the song. I must say, however, after having given it some thought, that I could easily live with never hearing IIWYG again. A track like "It" which is also on many lists to me is so utterly genius and let it be said that the guitar solo on that track is just so truly twisted and deranged and uplifting like only Prince could be in the 80s. My life would be much poorer for that song disappearing from the world. | |
