I'm going to try to avoid knowing anything about the albums before I buy them. I already know more than I want to.
But I miss buying a Prince album and being surprised by what I hear. I feel like I have opinions on the album before I hear it because of what I read online. It's going to be difficult avoiding the inside info & orger opinions, however. My Legacy

I blame the internet. I really dislike how it destroys anticipation, compared to the old days, little tidbits in the press got me stoked for 4thcoming albums. |

WHen I was little and my mom gave me allowances every 2 weeks, I'd run to the record store to buy a new Prince tape with NO expectation on how it was supposed to sound. I didnt have the internet and didnt know anyone that liked Prince as a 11 year old kid. I'm going to be that kid again for this album. With an open mind. | |
