Any info on the international release of Lotus? I know the album is being released through Target in the USA on March 29, but has there been any word on its release internationally?
Coming from Australia I am keen to know if it will have a distribution through normal music retailers, or even if Target worldwide will also be a distribution point. Any heads up will be appreciated. Swa "I'm not human I'm a dove, I'm ur conscience. I am love"

the only thing you can perhaps count on right now is to get it as a digital download from prince's official web site when/if it opens the same weekend as the CDs are released at target. while the web site IS supposed to launch by that date, we're not sure if lotusflow3r.com is only going to sell digital versions of the album or if they're going to do mail order for physical copies as well.
here's one thing to think about: i've read reports indicating that the artwork and lyrics are going to be provided online rather than as part of the CD packaging. that tells me not to expect a whole lot from the package of the physical product. of course, being the completist geek that i am, i'm gonna want the hard copy of the CDs (so i understand you would too), but you may not be missing a whole lot if you buy the digital version and download the artwork, then take your time trying to acquire the physical retail store CD version. just a thought.
