What many don't seem to Understand about Prince.. is that he is both a 'bad guy' and a 'good guy'.
It's absolutely pointless to deny this reality. The topic of 'haters' vs 'fammies' has been had before but it hasn't made much difference to the level of tolerance people show to other people's opinions of Prince. Strong views on his angelic nature and strong views on his egoic nature should be welcomed by all, in my humble opinion. The opportunity to show tolerance and allowance of the views of others is very important. Expecting anyone to conform to your perspective of Prince is futile at best. Similarly, attacking the views of others only shows weakness on the part of the attacker; a lack of tolerance and allowance. Perhaps someone is saying something you hadn't thought of? Just because they might be expressing a view that is uncomfortable for you to hear doesn't make them automatically wrong, nor does it warrant a personal attack. Prince is both an Angel, and a Demon. Deal with it. These attributes magnetically attract polarized opinions. Why not use the time you have here, while this website still exists... as an opportunity to grow in your levels of understanding of human nature angelic nature and demonic nature. There's absolutely nothing wrong with any of those things nothing wrong with anyone's views and nothing wrong with expressing them as strongly as you desire. There is however, something very oppressive, about disallowing these views their right to expression. That includes banning people who voice them. Let in the sunshine or the darkness or simply allow yourself to observe and remain neutral. Consider this a new discussion. Hopefully it will yield some positive results and provide an avenue for you to explore your own levels of tolerance. Peace.  | |
