The Real ONA Live VS. Bootleg~What do you like better?

So now that we have Princes first live cd in our hands, what do you think? His choices for the shows better than what the other (Companys) are putting out? I would have picked a few different venues than these. For those of you who have other ONA shows, would have you picked these??
It's funny to here critics write "Princes first live album"

I haven't received ONA Live yet, but, from what I've read it's been heavily overdubbed. Some of the bootlegs - especially the two "One Nite Alone In Washinton" sets and "One Nite Alone In Tokyo" - are fantastic.

Not heavily overdubbed at all. What are you talking about?!!! The overdubs are very minimal indeed.

Check the post with the 7,500 words review. Someone talked directly to the sound engineer and he explains where are the only few overdubs on the cds.

Extremely minimal overdubs, I agree...I feared for the worst awhile back, but my fears were unnecessary...the official live set has terrific sound...I could close my eyes, turn my stereo system waydafuckup loud, and swear I was reliving the concert, the sound is that good...

While I wish he had used the performance of "Xenophobia" from the Chicago boot--there's next to no talking during the Chicago performance and the guitar solos at the end of that performance are spectacular and longer--pretty much everything else on the ONA Live set is more than fine with me...

Maybe Prince has a point, about the bootlegs affecting him in some way, shape, or form...

The only folks who seem to complain about the ONA Live Box he produced, are the ones who have listened to bootlegs.

Lav, I wasn't saying that I didn't like the box set. I think it's one of Princes best releases ever! smile And I'm happy he released it to us first. But I've been listening to Prince live for 20 years. YES it does effect the way I listen to the box set. I love the raw Prince that is caught in the moment live.

music Prince ONA live

I agree 100% that would suck! I'm going to the Vegas show and I'm hoping he'll put it out on DVD. The rumor is that's what he's going to do smile
