My guess is he's gonna release it on import and maybe later on he'll call on Shock Records to bring it out locally like they did with "The Rainbow Children" in 2001. Although their release had some shoddy packaging. You never really know though.

He did the same kinda thing with "Crystal Ball" - I remember the 4 CD edition being in a few stores, retailing for a hundred odd dollars. Of course it never got released over here.

My attitude though, is that when it comes out, it comes out.

Until then I'll be waiting.....

Maybe Prince chose to do his deal exclusively with Target because the company is based in Minneapolis, and he's worried about the economy there. I think he may want to stick it to Walmart.
