Havent we've been thru this already a few times?
I'm starting to believe its yet another 'promise'
that will be broken... In any event, from start to
finish you have to say Prince is consistent with his
'projects' and their 'ultimate demise'.

Never promoted well or professionally.

Always hyped in odd places.

Egotistically flaunted but yet untested.

There is never a right time for Prince, its his terms, his time, his call.
Outside influences arent part of his 'process' until he understands this.. its his ultimate downfall..see his fan base from the 80's to now.

He has 'fans', they just arent soley into 'him' anymore, the sheen has worn thin and off, the attraction of the mystery of Prince has burned alot of dedicated fans with his inabilities to promote, succeed and keep material promises to his most dedicated fans in the past and of the future.

3 albums would be excellent but we've endured all of this with Crystal Ball and its *promotion*. $99.99 for lifetime memberships.....etc.

Its going to happen again, with no remorse to his dedicated fans.

There should be news very, very soon, and you'll be able to get your hands on all 3 discs before mid-april. Originally, there was speculation he would release 3 CDs separately throughout the year. Now, you'll have all 3 before Spring.

The sentiment within his dwindling fan base is agreeable, enough is enough we got this long ago, its time to be professional and let his music flow. Enough games, enough lackluster promotions, marketing and deals. I once paid for a 'lifetime membership', I sit here today as a fan who has nothing in terms of a 'membership', unless lotusflow3r gives us back the membership? Prince just needs to be understandable to his fans..make some business sense for once. Right now, there is no reasoning for this short lived debacle he created. It's a marketing fiasco set up to fail to the general public.

I was really hoping the new website would be promoted better and complete usuable on launch, it really is a let down in terms of the anticipation for his faithful following. As much of a genius he is, I wish he would be more creative with his faithful and give us some special tracks, extended versions and possible album only available thru is website. I know he did this with NPGMC but something on a CD mailed to us, something fan only accessible etc... anyways. Waiting as usual....BLAH!

I agree with you ALL THE WAY. Having the "mystery" and "allure" of all these undercover projects was alluring - to a point. It just becomes lame when they never get uncovered though. Crystal Ball II, Roadhouse Garden, 7 discs of samples, a 3121 movies - they sound cool but it gets lame and embarrassing when he never actually produces any of this stuff.
