I think some of the thoughts are here were good and some silly. In the end only Prince and the woman that have been there and now are gone know for sure. I do agree that it takes a very rare type of chick to stick with him even without all the "rockstar" stuff Prince is a enigma in himself. I am one of those weird chicks though where I don't think it is bad to have your man tell you what he likes and doesn't like and give input into you. However if it does get outta hand and the girl don't have a backbone I think it turns into a game like let me see how far I can push you and once that happens it is no longer fun. I think any girl getting with Prince has to know his first wife is muisc she has always been there and always will. Like my MAMA always said a man treats a woman how she shows him how to treat her. I think P needs a strong girl who is flexible and understanding for REAL and not just ACTTING the part to get the "big" job ( being his wife) Never should be a job. Cuz when you act and the role is done you leave. Just b you. In the end though I think God is the best match maker and the best glue for 2 people to stay together. hes a workaholic and most of the music business is exhausting,sometimes waiting for hours,then work for days. its hard to be in a relationship knowing you are second 2 something.i been the workaholic and get dumped because saving animals is first. and i still will chooses animal cruelty rescue over love. again and again.you cannot change the nature of the beast although they try /it ends up in regret for both concerned

U know by reading this it does bring to mind the story of Esther. Prince is the King and his wife Vashti failed to parade herself when the King called for her ( who knows but them) so Vashti is banned from ever coming in contact with the King again. If this were back in the day (way back) I bet Prince could hold court with all these fair virgins of the land and find his Esther. Going to watch One night with the King (gr8t movie ya'll should check it out). The only problem (for the other girls) is that there is only 1 Esther. She was placed by GOD for such a time as this to save her people from certain death. Sorry rambling but the last couple of posts made me think of this. Or Prince could be King David (have alot in common) or he could even be Solomon so who is the Queen of Sheba? Sorry this is so off topic but couldn't help thinking this from some post up above.
