My friend who worked with Prince in 96 said prince was way too controlling, He would tell mayte what to wear all the time even if just inside the house

Well, as far as I've heard from his past girlfriends in interviews, it was moslty because he was too controlling and didn't give them enough attention. I'm always surprised to hear that he wanted either Carmem or Mayte (or both) to wear make up in the house and even while they slept because he always wanted to see them looking "beautiful" Not only that but they couldn't call him whenever they wanted to and there were certain rooms where they weren't allowed to enter or use in the studio or his house unless they got permission from him!!

Shoot, I would feel like a stranger in my own house with "rules" like that and would leave the relationship as well!

Prince is an incredible man...and his genius which is an all comsuming art, unrivaled, makes him the more difficult 2 b around. Yet if u understand what he's about and love him 4 who he is and what he does then the relationship would b special and harmonius...unbreakable. Eye'd get on my hands and knees 2 thank God that eye found Prince...and there's nothing eye wouldn't do 2 make him happy in every way.
So as 2 y they leave him...it's communication issues and understanding...if that isn't present then it's as if strangers r in a relationship.

The few guys I know (family members) that are very similar to Prince (in different ways) are brilliant in their careers, just like him. Also, like Prince, all of them LOVE working and concentrating on their fields of interest. When not at work however, they are non-spontaneous "home-bodies" who have very little interest in any activities besides watching movies/TV, home chores, and sleeping, and therefore are considered VERY boring men.

So, that's another reason why I think his women leave. He's a nice hard-working man but is very stubborn, with seemingly boring habits, and men like that have to find women JUST LIKE THEM in order for any kind of romantic relationship to work, LOL.

I think Prince has a problem showing real love, maybe he is just too scared to do so. He is afraid he might get hurt. It is hard to believe that someone who writes beautiful love songs can have this problem.

I think it stems from abuse by his step father. He also said at one point that his father was very indifferent to his mother and there is probably where he picked it up. Also his parents were divorced and he found himself isolated. His problems with Warner Bros has taught him control.

In my opinion sex and love is the exact same thing to men, unless they are really in love with someone they cannot separate the two. Also I don't think Prince was/is the type of person to be tied down to one woman. He has always been like that, I think the women just get fed up and leave (with his money). There is far too much temptation around him at all times. LOL with the bountiful of beautiful babes everywhere.

However now that he is a JW and celibate maybe he has time to be reflextive on this and it will make him a better person.

and they want that..... its a perfect existence and can
go on for ever.... and their world is like a nice garden...

Now a garden needs a lot of the right sheeeeit to
keep the soil fertile and grow well.. no doubt about it...
