Report from Conga Room www.lotusflow3r.com visuals Report from Conga Room www.lotusflow3r.com visuals:
The Coachella footage looked sick. Hope there is still a DVD in the work. The website was really cool. Seen all 3 worlds and some cool photos. Actually saw what a Disco Jellyfish looks like and was able to see and play track from all the CD'S. Also the 2nd song of the night was the brand new song dream from Lotus Flow3r and it was amazing hold on to your wigs. I feel it cooming real soon... http://www.drfunkenberry..../#comments

i'm sorry but it's getting to a point where it's actually laughable
how rediculously slow this project is being unveiled. everything is ready to go and it seems like everyone and their aunt in the "bizz" have seen and heard it already. except fcuz, the people whom it is actually aimed at, the people who are supposed to come to the site and buy his stuff. i guess enough has been said about how poorly this project is being unfolded but with each report and each review that is presented i'm feeling more and more estranged and jaded. i'll see this project through but for whatever comes next i'm not even going to bother until i walk into it an a shop and can buy it to take home, without months and months of teasing, disappointing, promises, and ultimately let downs. he/they always shoot themselves in the foot. what's this about that new song being "the new days of wild". he wrote that song 16 years ago already and in that particular style he hasn't written anything that could top it. if we'd have the albums by now, yeah it might be an instant classic but with all this useless hype and comparison it can only be a big ass let down in the end because it will be neither fish nor flesh. and that has nothing to do with the public or the quality of the songs themselves. it's the misrepresentation, the bad pr and all the meandering politics. when released, as they are, in late december or mid january these albums would have kicked all our collective ass. simply because they were fresh, new, unexpected, and by the sound of the samples we've heard very nice indeed. now we've been dangled a carrot for only 2 months but with the way they play it, it feels like this project has been running for over a year. it's boring, repetitive and a total non-event at this point. who was it that told us not to have any expectations? well, he does a great job at creating impossible expectations every time and then he gets upset when people fail to be dumbstruck by what they end up hearing. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

First of all i rather have Prince take his time and make sure everything is right and perfect. Then 2 just release and unveil anything. When U do get 2 finally c it like I have. U will realize it takes a lot of time and effort 2 come up with & create what he has 4 us. Believe me U won't be disappointed and U won't have much longer 2 wait.....The site is AMAZING and if ur a suppose Prince fan u should know. This is what Prince does build anticipation will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P.

I read somehwere that it was a work in progress. And I dont thik they are dangling carrots. People who are seeing th e project are the ones reporting about it. Yes indeed the purple people are the ones who posted a start date of January which was sort of an odd thing to do. Maybe they should have sugggested a "preview awaits" instead. However, many reports from the press have been copied and pasted stating that it wont really "go live" until later.
I think the whole antciipation thing could have been derided if they had stated that in January a 'preview' awaits. And never fear, we will all be on it living and loving and cursing about it like we always do. But I feel Isten on the "let down" factor somewhat.

There is absolutely no excuse for this:
LISTEN TO NEW TRACKS BY PRINCE AND SPECIAL GUESTS * WATCH VIDEO AND EXCLUSIVE CONTENT * BUY MUSIC, CONCERT TICKETS AND MORE JANUARY 2009 an entirely new galaxy awaits That clearly indicates that the above will be available by January 2009. That did not happened, and there was no communication as to why. Frankly, I am not losing any sleep over it, but it is just so unprofessional. Can't wait for the albums though.
