Even though I may or may not be qualified
to review, here I go!

The long anticipated box set arrived at
my doorstep last night, and I literally
shouted out loud "it's here"!

First of all, I have to say the box set
packaging is EXQUISITE! The booklet with
concert shots, quotes from the NPG musicians,
fams, and media remarks, are a nice touch!

Listening to the interaction between the
fans and Prince is simply exciting and fun!
It is wonderful to experience the concerts
thru the live set.

The quality is great, crisp and clear!
Prince's voice is superb, and all of the
musicians are fantastic, and REAL!

I'm going to love playin this with joy,
over & over again!

Can I say this box set is worth it, and
I give it 5 stars out of five - plus!

I definitely have my favorites, but, I love
all the songs, and the solos. COOL! There
are some old and new, ballads, funk, jazzy
tunes, it's is just all in there! It is like
being there, feeling the excitement of the
audience, and the energy from Prince.

Thank you Prince and the NPG musicians!
I wish you the best on this one, everyone should have
a copy!

We can't ignore the diverse audience
that Prince and the NPG attracks.
I agree with Prince when he says,
"we have to champion our similarities".
Yes - we have to celebrate them!
We have to support oneanother.
For we are all ONE in our most Xalted form.

I would like to add to this.

We are ALL most definitely ONE,
we were created in God's likeness, we are ALL
God's children.

I would like to say that by getting ONE's heart
right with God, and casting aside prejudice,
loving oneanother, celebrating our similarities,
ONE then can be on that HIGHER level with God.

eye have been listening 2 4 2 days now.
man this unbelieveble.
eye love it every sound every second.
its perfect .
there are even songs on it that eye didn't like original.
that sound so supreme live.
its not easy 2 tell what my favorite parts are on the box .

but the songs that jump out of it.
-xenophobia (thats the bomb man)
-1+1+1=3 (so damn funky)
-strange relation (haleluja)
-avalanche(oh man so much passion)
-everlasting now (sound even better live)
-the whole piano stuff(very funny and cool)
-how come u don't call me anymore(the best version ever)

-joy in repetition(one of my favorites songs)
-a.street(never liked the song untill now!!!)
-2 nigs ...(oh my god)

but like eye said the whole set is outstanding

if there is one person out there who don't like this or is unhappy about it.then he really has 2 go 2 an ear specialist.

this is the first album from prince that has nothing on it what eye don't like .

I have been listening to it since i chased down the UPS man (quite literally, actually!) on Tuesday. What an incredible collection. Xenophobia, Extraordinary, Strange Relationship...some of the best performances of these songs are on this set. He may have made us wait 20 some years for a live set but man, what it's worth!

If I ever get my copy. Grrr...
It took months and several emails to get my ONA disc. If I have to wait months for this one, I'm gonna be pissed friggin off. Especially if it's in stores before I even get my copy.
I for one long for the download days. At least 15 hours of music, including the Ahdio Shows. Screw this snailmail crap.

Wow...who's gonna be the first to lash out at Andre...I haven't heard it yet but I couldn't imagine it being boring. And how could you not like piano medleys. Do you just hate the piano or something?

Received mine today in Hawaii? Mahalo NPG, it was shipped UPS Second day. Right now my entire neighborhood is listening to it, well they really don't have much of a choice, because my stereo has people sitting on their lawns shaking their heads. Smile, A neighbor came over and asked what store did I buy it from, I smiled and said Prince sent it to me persoanlly. Oh yeah, and he can get it on the 17th of this month, He asked if I could burn it for him, I said get it on the 17th. Man this set is great. well worth the wait.
