I wonder why this song has become one of his most favorite songs to cover? He has been reported covering this song more than any other song in the past 2-3 years. Why do you think he likes it so much?

BTW...I think it's a cool cover and I saw him perform it in Vegas during the Rio 3121 run bit just wonder why it's seems to be "the" cover song for him?

Good question? Well, I think cause it's like an Epitome of 80's Party Music. I Like The Night Life Baby....Let's Go....Vegas Style... Partyman... He likes to PARTAY!!!!! Listen, I saw the Cars 2x once at MSG in 1982 and once at Forest Hills Tennis Stadium. They are AMAZING. I want them to Regroup, but Benn Orr is Dead from Pancriatic Cancer and some songs can't be Redone. But Rick Ocasek should regroup,because Todd Rundgren was gonna be a lead singer and I can't see it. I was suppose to see them in Florida at the Hard Rock Casino but it was cancelled and I'm glad Todd isn't the Frontman. The Cars were Freakin Awesome ..Ya have no Idea. They were very ROBOTLIKE, but they were so Cool like BLONDIE Man. And I totally just like Blondie from Plastic Letters and Parellel Lines. Sorry but Ben Orr from the Cars can't be replaced. I think Ric made that clear when he mentioned he wasn't interested in a reunion.

he played it at 777, once at an aftershow at the indigo2, and since then he's only done a handful of small shows, so he's definitely not covered it more than any other song
