Did p write that song by Shania Twain? I have a boot that sounds like they are singing it together.

it was written by shania twain and her husband/producer mutt lang. prince covered it with marva king on vocals and it was online on love4oneanother.com in 1998. he started playing it live at an aftershow in europe and stopped midway

Perhaps it got too personal at that time sad shrug


sometimes he does it to tease the audience, sometimes cuz the audience aren't into what he is playing. like when he stopped the one you want to see at the indigo2 (the nite he opened with the cars let's go) as he started on a roll and when he played the new song and no-one sang along he nearly lost momentum. the audience probably didn't have a clue what he was playing when he did it

They knew it ... they were singing along to the chorus ... as evidenced on at least one recording.

I remember it. It had me going! Espercialy the guitar solo, is out of this world, as I remember it. Awsome 4 Me! Do U Have It?
