Prince Oscar Party... where was Marion Cotillard?? was looking through various sites hosting photos of the prince afterparty at the Avalon last night... and did not see any of Marion Cotillard.
according to the newspaper clipping on lotusflow3r... her request for tickets was the reason the party happened. he was going to play 4 her and her guests. it would have been cool to see a photo of her in attendance... the photographers missed her coming in? ... anybody seen her?? maybe something will surface as the reports continue to come in... sounds like it was a chilled funky night!!!! Kevin from Entertainment Tonight (ET) is supposed to have a report on the show later on TV tonight... stay tuned!!

I was wondering about her myself but you know, I dared not bring it up because we're not supposed to question anything around here. Not even why the $100.00 were general admission and the celebs were up in VIP for free.
I'd have been impressed if the people who waited over 12 hours on the concrete and kicked out their hard earned cash had been treated to VIP and the celebs were on the main floor but hey, I'm just a hater, so what do I know? I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

penelope... u forgot to tell marion where the purple party people be!! apparently Marion Cotillard was at the VanityFair party... (so were some others that attended prince's party)... because the jam started so late... there was plenty of time for the celebs to mingle and grab a bite at the govenors ball first... then change your gown/suits... head over to one of many parties (VF,etc)... and then the icing on the Oscar cake should have been Prince's party... damn!!! was reading various articles claiming that there was some confusion... too last minute... prince's PR camp scrambled to get the word out... etc... etc. marion was changed and ready 2 party... chaka not mad... prince mad... here is a link... http://www.examiner.com/x...-Cotillard peace and bwild!

That's crazy talk. Everyone knows that P and everyone he surrounds himself with are the most organized when it comes to events and getting the word out about new tracks. For shame, You should know that you should be grateful for the fact that Prince deigned to let the "commoners" mingle with the VIPs. • Did you first think Prince was gay? •
Wendy: He’s a girl, for sure, but he’s not gay. He looked at me like a gay woman would look at another woman. Lisa: Totally. He’s like a fancy lesbian.

If they had kept themselves up to date they would have known the party was going to be at the Avalon and not his house, just like it had been reported several days in advance.
Or the story about Marion was just fake.

http://www.foxnews.com/st...48,00.html (scroll down 4 story)
i copied and pasted the story from the above link... appears to have some facts correct... some if it is hype... and some could be pure fiction... u decide. Prince’s After-Party Embarrassment Last year, Prince hosted the hottest post-Oscar party in town in his private Hollywood Hills residence, but we’re told this year the "Purple Rain" man pulled the plug at the last minute as he didn’t want to dish out the dosh and it was too hard to get sponsors to sign up. Tarts was told just a few days ago that invites had gone out and that Prince himself was checking the guest list personally to ensure no "trashy Tinseltown types" were invited. But according to Prince’s peeps, he was in the middle of band rehearsals and didn’t even know he was again playing party host until Marion Cotillard called to RSVP and he then read about it in the papers last week along with you and I. Hmmm, sounds a little off as the party planners had been co-coordinating the bash for quite sometime. ... In light of the buzz, Prince’s personal public relations team rallied around to put together some-kind-of-something at Hollywood club Avalon/Bardot (although Prince probably would have been better off having an early night) and told Tarts that the show would be a for "few lucky fans" and of course his fave actress, Marion Cotillard. We did however spot the French beauty at the Vanity Fair party instead. ... Just a few hours before the scheduled start-time suddenly tickets for the initially "exclusive" party and performance went on-sale for $100, although the media alert seemed to be more just a plug for his website LOTUSFLOW3R.com and even included "requested on-air captions and photo captions" promoting the "highly interactive site," but the Web site hasn’t even launched yet … even more strange. Unlike last year’s star-studded soiree which attracted A-listers like Orlando Bloom, Elton John, Sean Penn, Petra Nemcova, Penelope Cruz, Stevie Wonder, Kate Beckinsale and Eva Longoria this party had no names attached and when we tried to find out why we were told that Prince is so particular about who is invited and keeps cutting the list. But clearly Prince didn’t really want to be involved in the whole affair himself, as he refused to do any press and wouldn’t even pose for the photographers and fans and all were strictly told to put their cameras away as he rushed inside. to all the fams that could make it... thank u for representing the true funk soldiers... the reports have been amazing!! peace [Edited 2/24/09 16:09pm] [Edited 2/24/09 16:16pm]

Raggedy T shirt and leggings? Princey baby must have been giving her that sideways look in the black sweat video. "girl, do you know who I am?" Cuzzin'... when Spooky say dead, u better say died.
