Apart from the last two songs, the 'new' rather pompeous version of Old friends for sale, and Extraordinary, a stereotypical eighties R&B ballad that just simply sounds 'out of place' on the album, its a very pleasant collection of jazz and blues-influenced tracks, with an organic quasi-live sound. IMO it is a lot stronger then the official Prince album released that year: Rave unto the joy Fantastic. Which I see as a forced, and misguided attempt to get back into the 'mainstream' again. Just like most of Chaos and Disorder, it shows Prince and the NPG having fun playing their music, with some delightfull results. damn! thats some straight up ignorant shit right there..... extraordinary....."sterotypical".....omfg.....you kidding right?

Ive had it on myself whilst getting ready to hit the town!! I think you mean "tickle the ivories." I doubt Prince would pee on his piano. At least, not if there were people watching. Damn...I've been utilising that expression for years!! No wonder I've been getting some strange looks..... www.filmsfilmsfilms.co.uk - The internet's best movie site!

It's a great jazzy song and shows yet another style of Prince with its Latin flavored percussion, I agree that they are some great songs on there but not as great as Chaos And Disorder, in my opinion, Both those albums are underrated by most fans.

Damn...I've been utilising that expression for years!! No wonder I've been getting some strange looks..... I'm almost certain that both variations are acceptable. In fact from memory the 'tinkle' version also has a sexual connotation. So maybe that's the more appropriate one after all.

I've never actually understood why so many people seem to hate 'Chaos'.
...Maybe some expected 'Gold Experience II'? It's right up there for me. Raw but at the same time quite intricate.

Gold Experience is a more of a rock album and features some amazing guitar solos by Prince, One of his best albums in my opinion. You should definatly check it out, The777Man
