Like how Tevin Campbell turned down "the p", seems Louie Louie turned down this track too. Unlike "the p", which is funny as hell, "hey louie louie" is just stupid. Tony M is all over it though, which no doubt sealed the songs doom.

The few Prince songs that did actualy end up on his album were kinda weak anyway, but damn, this song was just silly, and not in a good way. Yet, it does get stuck in my head sometimes And Tony M just cracks me up

I like this song, but I am a big Tony M fan.

That man is responsible for screwing up many good Prince songs. Whenever that man started rapping I skipped to the next song. Annoying doesn't even start to describe Tony M.

I went to MANY concerts in that time frame and they were all
FUN.....
Tony was SOO nice.. My husband and I danced next to him and
his girl up stairs at "Erotic City" one night.
He talked to us.. he was a cool dude.
I was SICK when that band broke up..
and I think "Louie Louie" is a fun song.. Kinda like "call the
Law" and "gangsta Glam" (i love that video!) P on skates and in
a "speedo with Suspenders.. sweet..
