Is Prince the only Jehovah's Witness you would open the door for?

That's my policy. I look through the little glass hole in the door and never open for the Jehovah's Witnesses. I'm an atheist and we would both be wasting each other's time. The only way a Jehovah's Witness would come through my door is if Prince himself took his jet and rang on my door. He would say what he wanted about his religion, I would respond, and then I would ask a couple of things about his music.

Maybe this message has been passed through to the JW headquarters, so maybe Prince will fly half way across the world and ring on my door shortly wink

I usually open the door for any proselytizer, even though I am a non-believer. I see Mormons quite often. I know that they are usually treated poorly by people, so I at least talk to them for a minute. I always point out that I am an atheist. I do so to break the myth that we are terrible individuals.

I don't know that he'd even come to my door, cause I have a sign that says "NO SOLICITORS OR CHURCH MEMBERS".

It just wouldn't happen but yeah if Prince was stood on my doorstep I'd invite him in for a cup of tea. My 4 yr old daughter would pounce all over him, my dog would sniff his butt and I'd be sat there completely bewildered! It would be quite amusing lol

Sure I would open the door for Prince, but I would be pretty speechless and would just sit there and listen to what he had to say looking like this eek or this faint

Well, I really don't like company unless it's family. I do have some Jehovah's Witnesses as family and I would love their company. As a matter of fact, they came to my wedding reception and I cried b/c when I was loading in my limo at my hotel, they came to see me off and I cried b/c I was so happy to see them! Also, for my brother's funeral almost 4 years ago, part of that family came to support us and they live sooo far away but I was sooo happy to see them...

If Prince would come to my house, I would welcome him in but he's no stranger - I mean, I personally don't know him but know his face. If a JW would come and I would know their face, I would invite them in but if they are real strangers...they would have to leave. That goes for anyone, in any race, in any religion, etc.

A couple of years ago, I was in my house when the door bell rang. When I opened the door, I saw two pretty looking, brown skinned young girls. Although they looked really good, they where dressed in some sort of strange, conservative clothing, like they were from the 1950's or something. Turned out they were JW's and so I told them that I was not interested in their speech and literature. Still wonder what could have happened when I had let them come in....

I have read alot of their literature and have decided for myself that it is just not the right religion for me. I would take the literature from Prince but not ACTIVELY CONVERT. It's not RIGHT for me or my Family.

Well, if Prince appeared on my doorstep, I'd invite him in, give him something to drink and let him witness for a while, then tell him I'd want to convert and that we should get together and he could explain his beleifs and all to me more.

licking I'd keep finding ways to see him again. licking

I have no interest in converting at all, I just would want to be in his company for a while. biggrin

Sure why not? we have alot of JW'S in our neighborhood, we always open the door for them. I like when they come to the door, it always nice to speak with other brothers, and sisters about Jesus.

Although I seriously doubt Prince would ever come to Phoenix just to do that, Phoenix is really not a hot spot for celebs, the only time celebs come here is if they want refuge from Hollywood, and trust me it very on the down low normally when a celeb is in town. I think mostly because people here really do not care about celebs being here, so they pay no attention...
