I live 5 blocks away from the Avalon. I chose not to go because of all the vague info prior to the show was typical Prince shadiness. He really needs to start using his website to post accurate CLEAR details, with or without links to purchase. It shouldn't be a shock that many are over standing in line all day for a "chance" to get in. Now, if he didn't piss me off every year with hypocrisy and dogma, maybe I'd compromise. | |

That could be the case for a lot of people, I think. I also think there's some resentment to his general approach to coming out to play whenever he feels like it. If you know a concert is going to start at 1:45 a.m., great; you can make your plans. If you think a concert could begin anywhere from 10 p.m. on until the middle of the night, you could hardly be blamed for not having the energy or patience for someone who clearly doesn't have any respect for you. | |

It's an obvious propaganda wing for Prince and until it stops acting like it's anything else, I'll continue to label it such.
