I think that's were Prince took over as director I love the energy of Sign o the Times Purple Rain in sales is much greater than Sign o the Times & UTCM put together Purple Rain is a cult classic. And Purple Rain was 'real' not autobiographic but in that just about everyone in the movie even the cab driver & M.C. were friends/people in P's camp/employees. It had a real feel to it... "They're exaggerations or minimizations developed to fit a story that never happened, yet, in a strange way, a story that is their reality. To me, Prince & the Times entire thing is visual. The microcosm they've developed 4 themselves was a movie begging to be made." There's music... that means there's night, there's bars, there are alley's. All of a sudden, a story begins to emerge." [Edited 2/22/09 14:37pm] That doesn't make sense, Prince has had the Time perform at Paisley Park and has Morris & Jerome on stage in recent years Don't think it was a coincedence that the (Time) Morris & Jerome started out the Coechella show with Prince with Prince playing the guitar solo for them and then Sheila hitting the Glamorous Life I think it would be great.

I'm not tripping I just thought that the image put on that site may mean something for the future, it's there for a reason. Out of all images to put there I'm not going that deep with it, this is all fun and that's it Sign o the Times is brilliant, but it is also a collage album with songs put 2gether from 3 other albums that had a focus:Dream Factory Camille project Crystal Ball The music that came out of the PR sessions was spectacular It's rumored that Prince & the Revolution recorded over 200 songs for that period The Roadhouse Garden music was created then, Sheila E's Glamorous Life, the beginnings of the Family Prince didn't even believe in the SOTT project that much (even though I wish he would have brought the tour to America) and released more singles from his 1st double album.
