I doubt Bowie was involved at all with this song. He was clearly an influence on P early on though.

I always thought "Anotherloverholenyohead" copied Bowie's video "Modern Love"...right down to the clothes.

Two of my favourite artists...unfortunately we'd have to set the time machine
(and not, thank God, the Tin Machine ) to the 70s for Bowie and the 80s for Prince...as with all artists creative peaks have been passed and anything they'd do together now woud be a disappointment...

Interesting thing though...Cat Glover was asked to choreograph Bowie's Glass Spider Tour around the same time she hooked up with Prince. I think she made the right choice.

P was in NYC during the 50th Birthday bash at MSG for Bowie. That was during the Emancipation Charity tour and he played Roseland, NYC - and shot video for "Sonebodys Somebody" and VH1 Chris Rock interview. I believe he visited the Bowie B-day but not sure?

Prince attended both night of the Bowie shows in MPLS back around the time "Sign o the Times" film was being edited. He let's Bowie and crew get a sneak peek of SOTT-film.
