Why the hell is Russell Simmons name before Miles Davis and why the hell is Michael Jackson and Prince before James Brown? People have the nerve to look at me funny when I say that I can't stand BET...puhleeze!

I honestly don't think any of those rappers should be in the top 25... top 50 maybe.

BET never gets it right. Then again, most of these Top 10 lists never get it right.

I think the headline should say: Top 25 influential BLACK artists in music.
Because I can think of some other names like Elvis, John Lennon.....

Nice to see Prince way up there. I could see MJ influencing a lot of dancers, but as far as music goes, I think he's still in a category of his own, meaning, in my opinion, no one really makes music that sounds like MJ's. Not many people make any music I would guess was influenced by MJ. However, many many people cite Prince as an influence.

I wonder why they are constantly putting out list after list rating artists by countdown. I wouldn't take any of it seriously since they are always changing anyway.
