It was a then 5 year old from France who had an international hit I believe was called, in English, "It's Good To Be A Baby." It was strange but cute, the song and the performance. Seeing Prince's face during the performance was hilarious.

and here it is:

lol

though i have to say whitney's reactions are even funnier.

Ahhhhh! Jordy!! Now I get it!!! But if ever you do find something with Berry Gordy, let us know!!!!!

I was there and I think he didnt do anymore songs cause the sound system was terrible. You could see that Prince was pissed that it was sounding rough.

I was there too. 10 feet from the stage. & not only was blocking the view of the rehearsal a dick move, but so was not engaging with the crowd at all & cutting & running. People who go to these things (not to mention the show's organizers) have expectations that the talent should be expected to meet. I've seen performers at those sorts of shows stick around & play six or seven songs, & they'll do so even after the cameras stop rolling. If being a dick fits Prince to a T, that's not something to be cheery about.

You should know that as big a control freak as Prince is, the sound problems were probably his own fault.

I'm not cheery about it, but listen to yourself: he didn't let you hear his rehearsal, that just sucks huh? He didn't play enough songs, the sound was awful (had to his fault right, he hates good sounding concerts right?), and what expectations was he supposed to have met? He was on GMA and performed for the show and apparently some, not all, ungrateful audience members. Was he supposed to pull you up on stage and hold your hand through this horrific experience?

By the way, I wish we could see Prince's expressions a little more, because watching that Jordy performance was just torture and I just saw it sitting behind my desk.
Wouldn't you like to just take a baseball bat and beat the fuck out of every toolbox up on that stage...?
(this is usually when i get an orgnote from Jordy's distant inbred cousin telling me I'm mean and how dare i want to beat that little putz into oblivion: i'll add i once made a joke about prison rape and received multiple orgnotes from every ex con's cousin on here telling me i'm insensitive- and it made my whole week).
