Nope, I'm sorry.

I am the winner, the best youngest Prince fan ever and you can fight for the runners-up! lol

I don't think knowing the answer to your own question qualifies you for that title, so I'd call it "in contention" until we can get a gameshow host over here. Is Alex Trebek a Prince fan?

Anyway, what was the correct answer?

I set the rules and the rules say, no matter what, Dave is the winner. razz

The correct answer was Face Down (Live at NYC 1997).

A different topic was discussing the demographics of Prince's fanbase. I'd like to know what kind of people are posting here. Just give your race, sexual orientation, age, sex, and where in the world you are.

I'll start. I'm a white, straight, 19-year-old male from Texas. I assume I'm not the norm when it comes to hardcore Prince fans. XD

Yes, as the B-Side of NYC Live, a so-called "4th generation bootleg", which was being sold to increase sales from diehard fans. You could get it through 1-800-New-Funk and on cassette only, but it was an official release! I highly recommend looking for it somewhere, that performance of Face Down is stunning. biggrin

Awesome, do you have the original cassette version? I have all the official albums but I don't have all of the major single releases. NYC Live and U Make My Sun Shine are two of the big ones I'm missing. I count my blessings though, since I was able to snatch up all the singles released through the NPGMC before that bid us adieu. Sometimes I randomly will find out of print singles just sitting in a store. I got Purple Medley from a Tower Records (before they bid us adieu as well) after I saw it just sitting alone with some other Prince singles.

I got it from ebay, though I can't remember how much it was worth back then. I don't use it anymore and I don't even know where it is, but I own it. A friend of mine converted it to mp3 so I could listen to it on my Ipod and my computer.

I don't own all the official singles on LP either, but I converted them from a bunch of people who had them and now I have pretty much everything that's out there, including bootlegs and all the stuff one would need on a lonely island biggrin

As music goes...I luv the funk and hate the punk , can't stand country but find soul in Bluegrass. After that, as long as it ain't techno, I'll give it a listen.

My first concert was Purple Rain in Rupp Arena and I've been a fan ever since.
