Does anyone know about the O(+> CD in a... Gold Case?
Amoeba record store is holding 4 me the Symbol CD with a beautiful gold case that is simply gorgeous with the purple symbol embedded on front. The case slides in2 another case, which is also gold. Does anyone know anything about this? Was this a promotional set? Info regarding this gem would be highly appreciated. Selling price is $20.00 used in mint condition.

[b] I have the cd you're asking about it was a limited edition of that release. Other than the fancy packaging it's the same cd inside. No extra music or hidden bonuses. It's a good find though so I'd recommend buying it now. When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

Yeah. This is one of those "Limited Edition" items from the period that doesn't have much value because "limited edition" became a catchphrase for mass-produced promo items. It wasn't difficult to find this version of the albums at the time, so it's not really regarded as rare or sought after - It's nice though, I've had mine since release date

If it has a dent in the can, it's a cutout. The Jewel case Batman Cd has much better sound. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.
