Let's talk about Prince.

Let’s talk about Prince.

When trying to start this topic, I didn’t know what to title the thread because it is hard for me to explain this feeling under my skin when listening to Prince’s music over the years. Each album has carried more of this invisible thread that I do believe other people sense.

I know that it is partly from Prince being a visionary. In the song “Strange but True,” Prince says…“When trying to xpress the future, sometimes language fails.” Even the song, “When U were mine,“ gives me this feeling like Prince was reaching into his ancient past to write the song. There are a number of songs from the earlier 80’s, through “The Rainbow Children,” and I’m sure that same invisible echoing thread will be there in the upcoming music.

It’s as if Prince is trying to say something that He can’t quite get to. What is it? Is it that Prince feels as if he remembers a past life? Or is it that Prince has many spiritual doors open within that have come with a close relationship with God, or something else? What about the notion of, “A Colonized Mind?”

Do U sense this…”Something is on the tip of his tongue,” sensation? I think it’s one of the things that has kept me attached to Prince in both a interested way and at the same time in a concerned way. I hope that whatever Prince is trying to say, that he gets it said, for his own satisfaction of clearing.

All that I can say to Prince is…I can hear U inside U, and I care. rose

When the song is isolated for what it is...yes... but it's like a relationship to all of the music to be a fan.

Our relationships with one person are different with all of the people we know...Your girlfriend isn't your lover, and your lover's aren't your cousins, and your love for your parents aren't your love 4 your cat. I hope we have cleared this up.

When we look at a photo album it's an array of relationships as Prince's music is an array of mixed emotions that we have experienced. Through the music listening, I feel an old thread under Prince's skin and I hear it in his voice...Maybe it's just me. cool

Christ's sake. Why are you waiting for a grown man to say what he means?
Your lover was on TV. The bright bleeding red back end of a BABOON. > target
