But, he said when he was growing up Minnesota was dead, the radio was dead, the chicks dead,the weather. He said he wished he grew up in NY or California. Prince would do just fine along my old neighborhood of Fordham Rd or the Grand Concourse or the Bronx Zoo or further up like Co-Op City, Throgs Neck or Pelham Bay Park.

That would be a funny site to see him anywhere in the Bronx, though I heard he did a charity concert for disabled kids at Lehman College in the Bedford Park part of The Bronx during the Purple Rain tour.
