A. The first time Prince was introduced to my work, it was by great chance. A. We did use a cut-to-the-chase contract. But I cannot disclose the contents of the agreement.

So frustrating. How does he fuck up again and again after so many amazing album covers? It looks like he did it or he got some tacky tacky "artist' who knows nothing about album sleeve design. The mouth looks so stupid. If anything it should be an eye. The font looks like the "Solid Gold" logo which was tacky even back then. I don't think anyone will ever understand who is driving his lonely bus these days, but I wouldn't count on a very good record. He always has a hype before a new record and he will most likely have some reviewers compare his new stuff to his golden era hits for a solid first week sales and then as people start hearing the record sales will slide off the charts into obscurity. It's been going on for close to 20 years. The last solid and consistent Prince record was 1988's Lovesexy....

Well, it is a step in the right direction. I like the font they used for his name and all that purple...it´s nice to see him going back to purple again.Nice to see some majestic, royal vibe going on there plus a little bit of a futuristic/ science fiction fantasy flavor.

The only things I don´t like are the face because it´s incomplete and just having the lower half of it on the cover looks a bit strange ,and the "3" in Lotusflow3r is still a bit irritating, but hey,it DOES look nice and not as cheesy as most of his covers did in the last decade.They should have put something else in that crystal ball, maybe a silhouette of him playing the guitar, or just his guitar but, all in all, it looks nice compared to the late 90s covers.
