Funny thing happened to me at work today Let me set the scene just a little. I work in a hospital, booking people in for tests and procedures and I have a tattoo of the symbol on my wrist.
A guy approached me today and I took his notes out of the envelope and, no word of a lie, his name is Michael Jackson! I gave him a pitying look and asked how many awful jokes he had had today. He said surprisingly none. So, I booked him in and explained a little about the procedure and while I was writing him an appointment card I saw him nudge his wife and point. As I wished him well and handed him his card, he pointed at my wrist and said 'If I had a choice, I would much rather be named after him'! I was delighted and told him he had made my day. And he did, I'm still smiling about it now!  I know I hold you too tight, but I just can't seem to get close enough | |
