After all the complaints I heard about the other site if people join it they get what they deserve.
"Why'd I waste my kisses on you baby?" R.I.P. Prince You've finally found your way back home. Well Done.

Thats cool and all but if in 2 years it goes down and you can't play whatever music you bought there....oh well anyone who wants to join of course thats fine but I was reading stuff about people who bought music at the last site they can no longer play.

Also whats with the him releasing 3 albums on the site? and sounding as if thats the only way to get them? Are they supposed to be major releases?
,if so whats with the f u to everyone else who may not wanna buy them from the
site but might want a hard copy so I can be sure they'll play in a year or so if that joint (the site) just up and dissappears like the last one did.

There might not really hardly be any record stores too much now but some people still do buy hard copies of cds.

Not from him anyway. From all the reading i've done about the last site I don't trust him.

everyone who backed up their files from the npgmc on a cd, which seems
logical since not everyone listens to their music only at their pc all
of the time (home stereo, mp3 player, car system etc) still has all of
that stuff. nothing got lost at all.

only people who never backed anything up lost their stuff. so all you
have to do this time around is make sure you make a back up on cd. or
more likely, the site will resolve those issues with drm free formats.

another likely thing, since you have to sign up again is that the old
npgmc albums will be up again and somehow those who bought them first
time round will have access to them again. or the drm thing will work
or something.

but nothing is sure yet, no.

however, there is much talk about all 3 albums being released by one
of the big box retailers in the usa. which means they will also be on
the market elsewhere through import at the very least or probably in
your local record store after some sort of distribution deal has been
put in place.

you might have to wait a while longer for that since i think the cd's
will be put on the website first. although, that is pure speculation
since nothing is comfirmed yet.

only thing i'm saying is that people don't need to cry anymore about
their "lost" files. anyone with half a brain backs his shit up. tho,
in a warped special way, it becomes prince's evil design if his site
shuts down and people can't play their music anymore.

it was a bad decision creating a lot of negative word of mouth but if
you sign up again and download stuff again you know what you have to
do this time, unless prince makes it very clear that the files can be
accessed all of the time in the future or should be stored in some
other way.

Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.
