Pop superstar PRINCE treated fans to a surprise performance over the internet this weekend (31Jan-01Feb09) - by broadcasting a live gig from his basement.
The Purple Rain hitmaker launched his new official website by taking to the stage with a full band at his Los Angeles home on Saturday (31Jan09), playing to a handful of journalists, competition winners and celebrity fans, including soul singer Anita Baker. Prince ran through a variety of his hit singles as well as treating the online audience to a selection of covers, including The Rolling Stones' I Miss You.  Broadcast online ????? | |
