Planet Earth cover and LOTUSFLOW3R If you will all recall the things said about Planet Earth's cover when we first saw it in 2007 (and by the way -- wow, that was 2 years ago already?), they are very similar to the comments being made about the design of his new website, and most likely the album cover up his upcoming LOTUSFLOW3R album (another sidenote: do we know if it's spelled like that or a variation.. Lotus Flower.. Lotus Flow3r.. LOTUSFLOWER..??)
Both images feature a view of the world (green and lush, the typical picture of Earth on PE / dark, dismal, and broken in Lotus) as well as Prince is a sort of 'godlike' position -- much larger than the world in PE with his hands over it ominously / enveloped a crystal ball/jewel in the center of the 'new galaxy' in Lotus -- which brings me to the 3rd thing they share in common, a space theme -- with the planets orbiting Prince and the world in Planet Earth and stars and lighting surround Prince's new galaxy floating in space ... There seems to definitely be a connection, not to mention the "pennies should scatter" reference previously discussed ad nauseum. (ps i hope this thread wasn't too "mzkqueen03" for you... she passed me some of what she's smokin and MAN!!!!  )

I'm not holding my breath for what I'm about to request but I would love to have a new Prince CD that's in a Jewel case. I don't know what it is that he's been using for his CD's in the last several years but whatever it is, it's wack. [Edited 1/8/09 13:56pm] I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I've liked all of the covers just because they are what they are...

We may appreciate it or not. Personally, I like the concept of Lotus Flow3r, even if I don't quite get it yet; obviously there's a lot of JW related study in it, we know Prince works under the influence of his current faith. | |
