Anita Baker - One of the Guests on New CD?

Anyone wondering like I am if Anita Baker is one of the guests on one of the new CDs? I think she may be since she was at the launch party.

That would be cool...or would it?
The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

Remember there is only one destination and that place is U
All of it. Everything. Is U.

If we start getting a whole mess of "guests," this thing is going to end up like Rave. disbelief
We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Yeah.. One or two co-writers or something is cool, but he clearly over-did it on Rave.

That's because he teamed up with Clive davis who was trying to duplicate the co-writer success that Santanna had w/ Supernatural.

No, it's because Prince wouldn't let the talents of the artists he invited to participate come to the surface over his polished, overproduced, pop fluff.

Should they curl up and die because they dared to age over 35?

Back to the OP: I wouldn't look too much into her appearance at a party, as much as I like Anita Baker.

Well, I liked the Rave CD so your comment doesn't say much to me. Besides, we know that Prince is not a multi-million seller - he goes gold and platinum, but that's about it. The only album since Diamonds and Pearls to go more than platinum was Musicology, and that was only with the help of the extra CD's built into the purchase price of the concert ticket.

Despite their ages both are still incredibly talented performers so it could be interesting...

I would not want to see that travesty happen. They are 2 totally different styles of music, and I would not care to see a colab between them. It is sacriligeous!!!

Run DMC + Aerosmith was excellent - variety is the spice of life, lets see what happens from it.

I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
