I didn't know it was a cover til I made this thread. [Edited 1/28/09 20:27pm] A rule of thumb for future reference. If you hear Prince singing a new song that's actually good..... it's a cover. You don't need to do any research. I would definitely not agree with that. Prince has made many songs since The Gold Experience that far superceeds Crimson And Clover. Crimson And Clover, in my opinion, is a decent song, not more, it's kinda likeable but a bit simple and ordinary. It doesn't have the Prince edge, which is not surprising since it's not a Prince song but a cover. | |
