Prince needs photo ops - it's called publicity - just as photographers needs photos of him to bring back to their editors - it's called a job. The relationship between the media and their sources is a two-way relationship.
In other words, it's about money. And for all the gasps of horrified feelings at this blunt truth, please remember that one of the main reasons why these photos are being taken is because they SELL.

There is no way on earth these pictures could have been so well-shot [beautiful frames, light, etc] if they hadn't been planned in advance - that is, Prince purposely stopped his car.
The whole think must have been orchestrated from the start [with Prince calling them] for the purpose of the above-mentioned publicity.

As for Bria: why so painted? Does she need it? Where is her natural beauty? What about make up that subtly enhances your natural features [like Diana for example, she used make up with moderation, it looked natural]. I'm afraid, Bria here looks more like a circus clown or drag queen imo.

Prince looks gorgeous as always... and so much in control too, which I personally envy:)..

He is a star and he makes an effort to look like one when out in the public. That is what stars are suppose to do.


In addition, did it occur to you he might have put the shades on when the reporters starting flashing those cameras at him while he was driving. I can imagine that the flash is blinding and he might have been trying to shield his eyes and still drive without hitting one of those idiots.

I would have thought my post implied that she does have natural beauty - only, that it is hidden by the layers of make up.
I guess it's a question of tastes - you like the fuschia, I prefer something more subtle.

In response to what laurarichardson said about the fact that she does need make up - I guess, when you are going to have your face plastered on every paper the next day and online, when you are in the media limelight, you do need make up, and to be presentable - just like you need make up to go under the lights when you are being filmed [on TV,etc].
My only point is that, to my taste, it's overdone. I was at a Thai transvestite play/ballet in Bangkok in the summer of 2006, and I remember seeing the dancers with the same blue color covering their eyelids up to their eyebrows. Very flashy and circus-like imo.
