It's a bit fam-ish, but I was curious about everyone's favorite extended versions of songs.

My choice (and the reason for the post) would probably be the Thieves In The Temple 12", but that's probably just until another one comes up on the MP3.

I wish I had more than the couple that I do...and I haven't listened to an album for ten years...I'll get a turntable again someday.

I would include Mountains, but here's the thing. The first 4 minutes of the 12", which is basically the same music as the standard/album version before the "extended" portion begins, somehow, in my opinion, sounds much worse than the regular album version. I don't know, it's not as rich, as substantive sounding.

Thieves In The Temple has now been replaced with The Beautiful Ones ext. version. It's such a passionate song anyway, that extra verse really adds something to it.

Another one of my favs that doesn't get much mentioning is the maxi-single for New Power Generation. The remix of that song is a throwaway, but Loveleft, Loveright and Get Off/Lubricated Lady are great. Those might be considered to be more non-album tracks or b-sides than extended versions, though.
