The Bin Laden reference was pointed at the incidents he was identified as having previously been behind, when Prince chanted this during the concert.

As was made clear in the original post, the 'prophecy' was not intentional. It just so happened that, after the chant, the band moved into the theme (played often during this time) based on Wagner's 'Also Sprach Zarathusa' adopted by Kubrik in '2001: A Space Odyssey'.

Lazy and ignorant pundits have tried to claim after 9/11 that Prince was somehow predicting future events.

The dumb 'prophecy' theory has been discussed and debunked before on this and other sites.

It was definitely a good one, I wish it had more exposure. I bought the cd for that and 'Fuck Warner Brothers' which I thought was an actual song. One of my fave boots.

bootlegs have been made attributed to prince that turned out to be a wanna be.

cheers!

Ok, so you're saying that it simply does not exist because you say it doesn't? The fact that people own or have heard the track is completely irrelevant?
And you actually think we can't tell the difference between P and a wanna-be?

ive had this happen a few times coming to this website. songs with provocative titles are created but actually not in existence just to cause controversy. controversy creates itself.

cheers!

ps: show me where to hear it. i'll change my opinion. its just that an opinion.

the track was on YouTube before Prince had it pulled. Here's the remnant of where it was posted, along with some lyrics

http://www.youtube.com/vi...9CF031EB19

it's not too hard to find more references to the song, which many here have heard, by doing a quick google search.

It's not like Bin Laden was an unknown back in 98, earlier that year Clinton ordered an attack on Bin Laden that missed by a couple of hours.

As I said in the initial post, it was more than likely "unintentional". But, haven't you ever said something or thought of something that ends up happening at a later time, sometimes without any deliberate association to the specific event but it ends up happening?

If not, you are rare. Many people have this. Some call it a third eye, others call it ego (not the traditional definition of ego), some call it ESP, some call it prophecy, and you may call it coincidence. But these kinds of things do happen.

Prince does seem to be able to (whether consciously or subconsciously) tap into that more often than others. Look at 777-9311. 77, 93, 11. Look at "Ronnie Talk To Russia". Look at "Annie Christian". How about "The War"? And of course, the OBL song. I think people should be listening to "Last December". Maybe 12-21-12?

Bollocks.

Why are people given this wonderful gift of life and all that goes with it and then spend their time searching for more? If there was a God I bet he'd be rather miffed that having created what he thought was perfection, his creation then asks for more.

Some people just aren't grateful for what they've been given. We can watch the sun rise over the sea or forest, get hungry from the smell of baking bread, run our hands over the skin of a lover, wonder at the finest and the simplest of foods, listen to the babbling of a brook or a friend's laughter, race to the places we like and camp out under the stars, we can cry at the saddest of movies and focus on the hardest of tasks and yet, even with all of this, mankind still wants more.

For all of you that feel like this and believe in a god... well I don't know what to say.

And, no, I haven't heard the track either.

You're right, he would be miffed. If there was a god, then according to the bible, he created Adam and Eve. He gave them a paradise to live in. Eve was tempted by the serpent. She thought sod this, I want more, and ate the apple from the tree of knowledge. god was miffed.

Fucking women. If he'd let them stay it would've only been a matter of time before she was nagging for a new kitchen. Or the hallway to be re-decorated.

I'm with Gervais on this one. If the tree was so fucking special why stick it in the middle of the bloody garden!? He was asking for trouble! And he let the snake in knowing it would be a bit of a cunt. It was a bloody set-up I tell you. Adam was right stitched up on that one.

I was at that particular concert and I can avow that when he sang that, the building split open and a ray of heavenly light fell on him while he sang this.

There's an easy way to take the fuse out of this bullshit; Prince sings about a bomb. No bombs were used during 9-11.

Again, can I call this major twattage?

Oh, there were bombs used in 9/11. Seriously. Haven't you seen the footage on network television of the initial explosions in the basement of the towers? Haven't you seen the patterns of chain detonations on the floors of the buildings as they fell at free-fall speed?

No, this thread wasn't intended to go here. But since folks pressed it, I'm going there.

Ok cool. I get ya.

I wasn't trying to say that people's abilities to coincidentally predict things based on pre-arranged phrases has anything to do with a "God (god)" per se, I am only saying that there are things that we do not understand that I'm sure will be scientifically proven in the future- such as our abilities to connect with one another over distances based on wave frequencies that our bodies emit and other like happenings. Or, quite possibly that it could be that future events and human reactions in the future could broadcast such a strong wavelength that it is detectable in the subconcious minds of people living in the past before the event.

No, I'm really not smoking anything. Lol! lol

Watch more of them. Read more about it. Much of it will blow your mind. This shit is no joke. I didn't believe it at first. But after awhile, when you have mountains of circumstantial evidence, it all becomes clear and it paints a horrific picture.

I look at it this way. The 9/11 truth movement and the "evidence" that we have is no different than the "evidence" they had on Scooter Libby, and he was convicted. There are plenty of cases with far LESS circumstantial evidence where people have been convicted. When you cover something up enough, and repeat a lie over and over again, people as a whole will believe it. The guilty have tried to debunk these theories for years because they know if they are caught that they will go to prison or be executed for what they have done.

Actually my mind is not set on 9/11 either. I think something fishy may have gone on. I don't put it past any government. My reckoning is that if you can put out an order to kill a man, it doesn't really matter to you who, where or what he is. Another's life holds no value to those kinds of people.

While I don't know one way or another about a conspiracy. I do, however, know that if you start to think something might hold truth, you're more likely to believe information that leads you closer to that perceived truth.

911 conspiracy is no different to a belief in god. There's no real evidence of the truth. For all of the theories that there was something much more going on on 911, you can find equal amounts of people with ideas and 'proof', that it was nothing more than an evil and despicable act by a group of terrorists. Which is in fact, all that I believe it was.

it is really quite chilling and very spooky
cool

An absolute multi>mega>ton of a jam.

and that is a fact!!!

Ok you do remember that the WTC was attacked wayyyyy before 9-11 I know I was there on my way home when it happened. sooooo.. no disrespect but talk what you know and testify what you see.

Yes, maybe it was 1993 or so... but I don't recall
whether or not bin laden was specifically named in
that attack...confuse

To address directly what I do know....
the "osama bin laden gettin ready to bomb" jam
from his show in the Netherlands is IMO,
an absolute multi>mega>ton of a jam.

Look at the documentary vid. U can see some of the bombs exploded even way under where the planes hit and most people that were in the building said they heard them.
