UK Orgers - Alan Carr is a true hardcore purple head....

..did you hear him yetserday lunch time as the guest with Sarah Cox on Rdaio 1!. Wow, he really knows his stuff and is as obsessed as us!, he used to buy everything including the G. Bridge video! [now that is committment!!!]
I love Alan & it was great that he was so positive about P, anyway he chose to play Kiss. Here's a link for our non UK fans, somehow I doubt he's P's cup of tea!!.

I watch TopGear on BBC America and Carr was on it recently. He's a character biggrin

Hi Everyone,

In his book "Look who it is" Alan carr, he talks about how much he was mesmerised by Prince and "the amount of times Mum would catch me miming to his songs and practising that bit where he jumps up and does the splits during Housequake". No different Alan to the rest of us!

He says that His Dad didn't get Prince. His Dad wouldn't allow Prince to be played in the car, so Alan created a tape of Prince hits that he thought would win over his Dad.....it failed and poor Alan had to endure Chris Rea instead!

The book is a good read. It's cool that he is a Prince fan.

That's great! i had no clue, why can't i imagine him pulling the splits off though? lol
