I don't thinkk the blog is official in ANY way....I do think the review is real however. Nothing is named because the reporter who made it doesn't want to be id'd...understandable. If it was know she put it on blast, she/he probably would loose stories. I understand all that. Cool. Anonymity is necessary.
What I do want to say is... ...the last time I read a review like this was for the Gold Experience. Some hate it, Many love it. Maybe the reviewer is using this to their advantage. It alls eems promsing to me. Goddamn, that was a LOONG time ago. friggin Compuserve/386 days...whew!

What is the point? Who cares? People bragging? God, if it's leaked, we'll all have it by the end of the night.
Also, TViolet has posted the lyrics 2 the song "Lotusflow3r" there now. Poor Prince. Losing income again due to his fans.

I prefer an official, high-quality version with packaging. If it has leaked, I won't do it. The 31st is just around the corner... BUT what if TViolet's version is authorized and legit, somehow? Also, TViolet has posted the lyrics 2 the song "Lotusflow3r" there now. I signed onto that blog in error thinking it was an official site of the artist. I have been trying to cancel my name from it and sent them an email, but they don't respond. It's been 2 weeks now and no response. [Edited 1/21/09 18:04pm]

Also, TViolet has posted the lyrics 2 the song "Lotusflow3r" there now. I seriously doubt if those are the lyrics to Prince's new song. I don't think Tviolet would just post them on that blog, especially knowing how Prince is about his material. The words that TViolet posted on that blog, belong to Australian poet, Roderic Quinn, born in 1869, died in 1949. He wrote the poem The Lotus Flower" Here's his picture: http://allpoetry.com/opoe...lower-wbr- The Lotus-Flower By Roderic Quinn Born 11/26/1869 All the heights of the high shores gleam Red and gold at the sunset hour: There comes the spell of a magic dream, And the Harbour seems a lotus-flower; A blue flower tinted at dawn with gold, A broad flower blazing with light at noon, A flower forever with charms to hold His heart, who sees it by sun or moon. Its beauty burns like a ceaseless fire, And tower looks over the top of tower; For all mute things it would seem, aspire To catch a glimpse of the lotus-flower. Men meet its beauty with furrowed face, And straight the furrows are smoothed away; They buy and sell in the market-place, And languor leadens their blood all day. At night they look on the flower, and lo! The City passes with all its cares: They dream no more in its azure glow, Of gold and silver and stocks and shares. The Lotus dreams 'neath the dreaming skies, Its beauty touching with spell divine The grey old town, till the old town lies Like one half-drunk with a magic wine. Star-loved, it breathes at the midnight hour A sense of peace from its velvet mouth. Though flowers be fair -- is there any flower Like this blue flower of the radiant South? Sun-loved and lit by the moon it yields A challenge-glory or glow serene, And men bethink them of jewelled shields, A turquoise lighting a ground of green. Fond lovers pacing beside it see Not death and darkness, but life and light, And dream no dream of the witchery The Lotus sheds on the silent night. Pale watchers weary of watching stars That fall, and fall, and forever fall, Tear-worn and troubled with many scars, They seek the Lotus and end life's thrall. The spirit spelled by the Lotus swoons, Its beauty summons the artist mood; And thus, perchance, in a thousand moons Its spell shall work in our waiting blood. Then souls shall shine with an old-time grace, And sense be wrapped in a golden trance, And art be crowned in the market-place With Love and Beauty and fair Romance. [Edited 1/21/09 18:11pm]

Thanks 2elijah. I think we should get this thread locked up. I am really sure Prince doesn't want his copyright attached to someone saying those lyrics are Prince's.
What is the point of a fake blog? To see how many people fall for the okey doke?

Once again, people:
THERE'S NOTHING TO SEE HERE. The blog discussed in this thread is NOT official, NOR is the information from the blog accurate. When we hear rumblings from Prince's camp, we will share what we know ASAP. Likewise, when we know a rumor is false, we will do everything we can to let you know it's a load of bull-dookey.
