I had the good fortune to catch the Osaka and Nagoya ONA shows. The soundchecks were incredible. It's such a blast to have souvenirs of each performance on the C-Note album.
Nagoya has been my jam ever since it was offered by NPGMC. Nothing on my iPod has been played half as many times as that track. The band is so tight that I sometimes have to remind myself halfway through the track who the guitar player is.

i just can't listen to either osaka or tokyo on their own. they just belong together for me. i love love love the way the segue into one another. the atmospherics the lead into and out of tokyo especially make me moist, lol. absolutely incredibly beautiful. these two songs back to back always make me want to go full out and slap on miles' bitches brew. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

My jazz/funk fusion faves that run together are :
TRC, Xenaphobia [both ONA versons] Six, Over Night Every Night [Eric Leeds Time Squared CD, Written by P and essentially the same track as Xenaphobia]. Letter for Miles [DON'T ASK!] These sound just great in that order.
