You must be talking about The Chocolate Invastion version from 2004. That sound at 2:16 is deliberate. It's a very short reverse vocal sound to lead into the rap/spoken word section. That part wasn't on the original 2001 version and sounds like it was added later specifically for the Chocolate Invasion album (as opposed to being 'edited out' of the original).

Either that, or you have a faulty version.
