Chaos and Disorder gets props for the worst album

Push It Up gets worst song...it makes my ears bleed

Ahm...have we forgotten about the horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible, (SCREAMING and RIPS hair out) Damn it. As I was typing She loves me for me and I love funky music crowded my mind. Which one is worse?

Its proabably breaking the rules but I would have to jointly nominate Chaos & Disorder, The Vault, and Come 'cos he wasn't making an effort on any of them.


Worst song? Either Ronnie Talk to Russia, Grafitti Bridge, or 3 Chains O' Gold. They're all piss-poor.

Can't believe how many don't like The Truth CD. I think its great. Man in a Uniform is damn funny.

I am worried about how many give ONA a low rating - I joined NPGMC late so i've yet to receive my copy. Is it really that bad??!!

i think it must be a toss up between FOR YOU and NEWPOWER SOUL. Both albums seem to have Prince searching for a sound and not quite there. I don't hate them or anything (actually, i just listened to FOR YOU last night), i just rarely crave to hear them.
Least favorite song is, without a doubt, Graffiti Bridge.

It's a pity so many people seem to dislike "For You". I love that album.

I'd say For You as well. Just never really got into it. Don't listen to it at all anymore, but its certainly not his worst "effort". Chaos and Disorder and New Power Soul have nothing exciting or new on them.
Worst song "Arms of Orion", the song you always skip when you have friends over. Its the daytime Soap of Prince tunes.

My least favorite album is Chaos and Disorder. I listened to it exactly once and never have again.

you may be right...I didn't did Emancipation when it first came out, but now I totally dig it, especially the song "dreamin' about you".

What I think is really interesting, is that there seem to be no really irritating songs on 'Sign Of The Times' and 'Purple Rain'.

While some of those songs could have sounded terribly if they had been performed and produced like some other albums. Imagine 'Play In The Sunshine' produced like an 'Emancipation' song. Or 'Housequake' like the funk jams on 'Diamonds And Pearls'. Imagine 'I Would Die For U' played like the songs on 'Graffity Bridge'...

emancipation and c & d are tied 4 least-liked, in my book.

least-fave song: "my little pill". i listened 2 that song once, and it made me violently ill.

NEW POWER SOUL is definately the worst,
the best is GRAFFITI BRIDGE.

'For You' isnt like Prince as we know him now but at least it was decent music.
I found NPS so bland and pointless compared to other stuff he's done

Oh geez..gotta be New Power Soul...oye! OK, now granted Chaos/Vault/Come all are forgettable albums...but New Power Soul has to be the ultimate low point, cause frankly Prince actually thought it was good...HOW?! Why?! Best for me is always Gold (I like Exodus too)...so to say that NPS was a dissapointing sequel to Exodus is the ultimate understatement...in fact, it was the Jar Jar Binks of NPG albums...Worst song? DA DA DA...ends good though...

I fucking HATE ! It is, by far, his worst album. Prince chasing trends and sounding like shit. The only decent tune on there is 7 in my opinion. 3 Chains 'o' Gold his is worst song...can anyone say Bohemian Rhapsody? Simply frightening.

Never heard all of For You...but what I have heard isn't bad, just bland.

Finally I actually like Chaos, NPS, & Rave to a certain extent...not his best by a long shot but certainly not his worst either.

My least fav album is Emancipation -particularly the 2nd CD- and my least fav song is I will.

I never fell in love with but really never got into "Graffatti Bridge". It jus wasn't a real Prince album and its sad that they tried to sell it off as one. At this point, Prince producing, writing, etc for other artist was just not working for me like it did in the early eighties. Least favorite song is "Courtin' Time". I read a few of the posts and got reminded of it when HotThang mentioned it. Thanks Thang! And I loved "For You"! Not a favorite but quite good!
