I hope Prince puts more happy songs on his new albums. It's not that I miss the songs from any one album or period of time, it's just that now that he's apparently found some greater spiritual intimacy with God/life with the JW's, happiness really doesn't come out much as the exhilarating, infectious joy that used to come through in some of his greatest songs.
