Not a big amazing piece of news but i noticed that the new 4ever track has the same chords as i could never take the place of your man in the verses C-G-F

So?

Music lesson 101 - I, IV and V chords lol

Chords are just one of many elements of music.

Fair enough. It's not just the speed of the chords though - it's also the rhythm, the instrumentation and the chordal inversion.

Crimson And Clover has the same chord progression too, so does When U Were Mine for example. I also tend to immediately compare to other songs he did when I listen to something new, but, as long as the initial idea and feeling and experience is not re-done, it's nothing bad at all. As long as he doesn't use a certain chord progression twice on purpose, it's okay.

Every song creates a new universe on its own. Every chord is a star, every sound is a colour, every beat is the time, every word is meaning and every melody is understanding.

It doesn't sound the same to me and so many cords played in diffentent keys and different instruments still make a new song smile
