Ok, let me first start off by saying that this isn't a shot at Prince, this is just an observation.

By looking at the car picture has just made me realise something

OK, so it's not like Michael Jackson hanging a baby over a balcony but notice in the car shot, he's not wearing the seatbelt? An then look at the B&W shot from '93, and he's not wearing the belt in that either.

And then I was thinking about Purple Rain & Graffiti Bridge and how he doesn't wear a helmet while riding his bike.

I must say though the photos are great, I think the general public will see him in a less strange light because the photos are so natural

umm

Since there is no evidence that the car is even moving in either picture I don't see why he would be wearing a seatbelt.



Also I think the first picture was taken Europe and it isn't required by law in many countries to wear a seatbelt in the backseat anyway.

In Minneapolis the law permits you to ride without a helmet.

I've never seen anyone wearing a seat belt in a limo, but then again, I've never been in too many limos.

I don't think the law requires back seat passengers to wear seat belts. Especially in a limo.

Yeah, it seems to me passangers over 12 aren't required to wear their seatbelts if they are riding in the back. Prince falls into that catagory.
