Thanks for the kind words. How would you definite this obsession, a "creepy" one nonetheless that I apparently have? Seems an odd thing to say on a message board dedicated to the discussion of a single artist, doesn't it? Would it be from the massive, mind-numbing 700 odd posts I've made in five years? By dint of my post count in comparison to I'm guessing yours or any other number of people here, I can assure you I'm a little lower down the 'obsession' ladder than you apparently expect. As far as I what I'm like 'in person,' I'm five foot two male, who wears heels, make up and lots of tight glittry outfits. Normal enough, right? No hard feelings.

I just find it intresting how strongly some believe critical thinking of Prince's latest work does not belong here, or that fans with critical views should not voice their opinions here as often, lol
I have no problem with the fams drooling and fawing, i think its cute. Critical thinking and complete adoration fit perfectly on a fan site. Dont agree with someone fine, but dont try and chase their opinions away

He does not know how to criticize constructively, so he decides to come in and continue to whine like a little kid with no birthday cake. I have said it once, and will say it again. He is the one looking foolish by showing disdain for EVERY song, yet he stilllll comes back. He has an unhealthy obsession. *chuckles* -you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude!

...and 4 Wall...
I cringed at this song's snippet. The intro is almost unforgivable, but the harmony excels on the last syllable, but not enough 2 redeem it. I can't STAND auto-tune, even as an effect. Use a real damn vocoder. The first verse starts 2 sound better, and I will even give this a chance, on a full quality listening on my system. I AM hoping that the 'MPLSound' album actually does have some real tidbits or more. I still think that he's playing a trick on everyone. He may be holding his best cards from the players' view. I still haven't heard anything that sounds anything like "Controversy", a sacred song 4 me. So maybe there's some heavy, greasy shit we haven't heard yet. Who knows. I espoused his/her frankness and honesty, but at the same time, 4 him/her 2 call ME out as a fake/wannabe/fan/Ali-whatever the fuck/etc was wrong, because he/she misread me. I am in the biz, fortunately or unfortunately, and I don't EVER do anything 2 seek attention. That was the problem, and "tearing purplecam a new one" doesn't impress me or interest me at all. Cam is a good person. Wall probably is, as well. This whole thing with music and life goes beyond all of this. [Edited 1/17/09 21:39pm] "He's a musician's musician..."
