I think the fams dont stray too far from Prince music and rnb thats why they defend him so strongly. I was going to include other stuff from this decade i liked but i didnt think they would know who they were | |

Prince is my favorite, yes! But I love everything from Rap to Rock, Classical to Jazz, Techno to House, World music, Pop and whatever catagory you would put Enigma in. *chuckles* About the only music I do not care for is country. Ok now listening to the clip I hear what you guys are saying...I let my mom listen to some and she said she dislikes his background vocals..they sound 'scratchy and grunting' I admit I never thought about that but I do agree...I always hated when he moved into that weird lower register like the background for New Power Soul and Undisputed. I loved that beat! And hey, gotta love Lil Wayne with his crazy ass. (haha) I am currently enjoying Brooklyn (we go hard) by Jay-Z. I enjoyed Britney's Slave (I think it was presented to us within the last ten years) Almost anything by Kenny G, but more defined...Brazil and Paradise are two of my favortites from the last decade. I really enjoy Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I enjoy almost all of their work. I will give you a link to check out a few of their videos (http://music.msn.com/music/artist/trans-siberian-orchestra/) Enigma's Posteriori album...A few defined songs that I love are Eppur Si Muove and the Alchemist (I could talk more about them, but will leave it at that for the last decade). Moving onto Delerium's album Nuages du Monde (2006) and Chimera (2003)(I believe). Too many songs to list all of my favorites. Kanye West-Jesus Walks and more Plies, Bust it Baby, and Please excuse my hands Chris Brown's Take You down (and many more) The-Dream's Falsetto (omg, LOVE that song) Crazy Town- Butterfly Missy Elliot-Get Ur Freak on (and more) Nickelback- How you remind me Stained- Its been awhile Lenny Kravitz- Again Ludacris- What's your fantasy Nelly-Hot in Herrrrre Eminem-Ummm, can't really name one song. Lose Yourself, Sorry Momma, and more! Like a lot of them! Puddle of Mudd-Control Usher-Yeah, Burn, Can you handle It, and Love in this Club Black Eyed Peas- Hey Moma Kelis-Milkshake (hey...I danced my booty off to that song) Ying-Yang Twinz- Oh, I love adore them. Many songs. Metallica- St. Anger Will Smith- Switch and more The entire album from Chicago the Musical Rent-the Muscial (some songs) 30 Seconds to Mars-The Kill Soulja Boy (yeah yeah, I know) But c'mon...Even I loved doing the Soulja Boy...Not so sure about the Bird Walk. Haha Daddy Yankee and Pitt Bull (Oh yeah, love them) Again, not saying these are all the most "Musical" artist...but beauty is in the eye of the beholder, yes? Ya know what...I probably should have org messaged you with this. Because I could go on FOREVER! I have not even gotten into Frank Sinatra or Classical. Have barely hit my Jazz fetish. Have forgotten MANY that I listen to. There are more recent ones that I like a lot also, but I promise you, I would be here all day. But my all-time favorite singer/composer/musical lyrist, and so on is Prince. However, as you can see, I do not listen to him 24 hours a day by any means. But I am almost always listening to something. I play music in my office while working, at home while relaxing, in my car while driving, and sometimes from my i-pod while doing other things. The more I listen to this clip the more I love it. I am honestly loving the groove, sounds and beat. I am also digging the lyrics. Personally, I am just loving the lyrics. I think they are fun-loving, a touch dirty and cute at the same time.
