What makes anyone think Prince is too old for a worldwide tour? Ludicrous. Check out The Mountains and the Sea, a Prince podcast by yours truly and my wife. More info at https://www.facebook.com/TMATSPodcast/

The idea itself is great, really!
But Prince is nowhere near too old yet and I'm sure he still enjoys giving concerts

Too old? Aren't the stones & Aerosmith still doing worldwide tours? I wanna be loved to the 9s, so let me cover your ass with this sheet, and baby, you better stay on the beat! Cause you know the Karma Sutra? I can rewrite it. But, with half as many words.

Keith Richards at this point is being held together with spit and scotch tape so if he can still do it then P should be touring for many years to come.

Exactly. Let's include Mick Jagger and Steve Tyler to that list. They're both still going strong and I don't see anyone putting limits on them. It's amazing isn't it, how some people think they can "limit" people to what they can do, based on limitations they set for their own lives? Pathetic. [Edited 1/17/09 13:55pm]

I totally agree. I believe it's the entertainment of the future...Why not many bands on schedule at theatres every weekend. "The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

Sayin 'this band or this person and that person is doin it so why can't he?' ain't even necessary, cause he ain't any of those people. His bod ain't theirs.
Let's just hope he can do it and he doesn't push his body beyond how much it can go just to please us, cause I don't want to hear him faintin on stage or have to go to the hospital from exhaustion. [Edited 1/18/09 5:32am] I swear the words "HATER" is wayyy over-rated...smh

Really stupid comment. Why is he too old for a world tour. have you checked the Rolling Stones or Springsteen lately who are older than him ?
They are still on fire. Prince still is as well.
