Even if I actually witnessed Jehovah (whatever that means) I'd still have to think about it.

To become a JW just to be with someone or just because Prince is a JW, is absolutely foolish.
I can however understand that Prince wants to be with someone who shares his religion.Personally I try to keep an open mind and I love to hear what people of any religion think about God.
The problem with religion is that any kind of religion is man made and reflects how the founder interprets God or the bible. To follow a single person's interpretation of God and the bible is dangerous in my opinion.
The mass suicide of Jonestown or the disaster in Waco comes to mind. Many people throughout history have been brainwashed and were led to believe and do outrageous things just because they followed their religious leader.

It depends on what you mean with "for him". I wouldn't become one because he is one at the current situation with me being a fan long distant away from him. If If I happened to get to meet him and ending up involved romantically - I think I could absolutely consider it - if it's really that important to him. I think most women in here would do that under those circomstances. Saying something else would definately be hypocritical...wink

usually its not that easy to be a JW because someone else is one.

If one is to become a Witness of Jehovah, they must make a dedication to Jehovah 1st and foremost. Anything less would be half hearted....even for Prince. Now back to our regularly scheduled program typing

If i were at all considering to become a Jehovah's witness i would not do it FOR him, but rather for myself. he has definitely inspired me to research different religions (as well as other things) in order to better understand my beliefs as well as to understand other individuals beliefs and religious practices. I think that Mr.Nelsons broad range of knowledge (not of just his religion but politics, historical and social events, etc) is evident in his music and is one of the many reasons why i enjoy what he creates.

The only time that I am ever going to enter any kind of religion is when I want to do it,for myself, and not before then. So I guess my answer is no.

You would become one if you sincerely want to.
Otherwise, if I became a JW simply to get closer to Prince,
I know in my heart that the motive would be selfish and insincere.
